Sharper Styling With Subtle Design Tweaks
The 2026 City facelift receives a refreshed front fascia featuring a redesigned grille, updated LED headlamps, and a sportier bumper layout. Honda has also introduced new alloy wheel designs and revised rear bumper styling to give the sedan a more modern appearance.
Spy shots and launch images reveal a cleaner, more aggressive front-end design with reduced chrome treatment and sharper detailing aimed at younger buyers.
Bigger Infotainment Screen, More Features
Inside the cabin, Honda has upgraded the infotainment system with a larger touchscreen unit supporting wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. The sedan also gets new interior trims, ambient lighting, wireless charging, and improved upholstery options.
The company has focused heavily on technology and convenience upgrades to keep the City relevant against feature-rich rivals in the segment.
ADAS Safety Package Expanded
One of the biggest updates on the 2026 City facelift is the addition of enhanced Level 2 ADAS features on higher variants. Honda Sensing technology now offers functions such as adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, collision mitigation braking, and road departure mitigation.
The sedan also continues with six airbags, electronic stability control, hill-start assist, and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
Powertrain Options Remain Unchanged
Mechanically, the facelifted City retains its existing 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine along with the strong hybrid e:HEV setup. The petrol engine is available with both a 6-speed manual gearbox and a CVT automatic transmission.
Honda claims the hybrid version delivers fuel efficiency figures of up to 27 kmpl, making it one of the most fuel-efficient sedans in the segment.

Bookings for the 2026 Honda City facelift have commenced at Honda dealerships and through the company’s official website. Deliveries are expected to begin in phases across major Indian cities over the coming weeks.
