2026 Tata Tiago Facelift Interior Revealed Ahead Of Launch

Tata Motors has officially revealed the interior of the upcoming 2026 Tata Tiago facelift ahead of its India launch scheduled for May 28. The refreshed hatchback receives a noticeably more premium cabin with a redesigned dashboard, updated upholstery, and several feature enhancements aimed at strengthening its appeal in the highly competitive entry-level hatchback segment.

The biggest talking point inside the new Tiago is the completely revised dashboard layout. Tata has moved to a cleaner, layered design theme with horizontal lines running across the cabin, giving the hatchback a wider and more modern appearance. The dual-tone treatment further enhances the premium feel, while gloss black inserts around the centre console add a touch of sophistication.

At the centre of the dashboard sits a free-standing touchscreen infotainment system, which is expected to continue with Tata’s latest connected car interface supporting wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The updated steering wheel design, inspired by newer Tata models like the Nexon and Punch EV, also appears to feature revised controls and an illuminated logo in higher variants.

Another notable upgrade is the addition of rear AC vents, a feature that improves rear-seat comfort and was absent in the outgoing Tiago. Tata has also introduced new dual-tone seat upholstery with lighter cabin inserts that make the interior look airier and more upmarket. Reports also suggest that the seats themselves have been redesigned for better comfort and support.

In terms of technology and safety, the 2026 Tiago facelift is expected to pack several segment-leading features. Teasers have already confirmed the availability of a 360-degree camera setup, which is rare in this price bracket. The hatchback could also receive a refreshed digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, cruise control, wireless charging, TPMS, and six airbags on higher trims.

Mechanically, the Tiago facelift is likely to continue with the familiar 1.2-litre petrol engine along with CNG variants, while the Tiago EV facelift is also expected to debut alongside the ICE model. Tata has focused primarily on design and feature upgrades rather than major powertrain revisions.

On the outside, the new Tiago adopts a much sharper design language with redesigned LED lighting, updated bumpers, fresh alloy wheels, and styling cues inspired by Tata’s latest generation of vehicles. The EV version receives its own distinctive fascia with a closed-off grille and cleaner front-end treatment.

With these updates, Tata appears to be positioning the 2026 Tiago as a more premium and feature-rich offering in the hatchback space, while still retaining its value-focused appeal. More details, including variant-wise features and pricing, will be announced at the official launch later this month.
