Mahindra has announced the return of its highly sought-after BE 6 Batman Edition, reopening bookings for the limited-edition electric SUV after overwhelming demand during its original launch. The themed EV, inspired by DC’s iconic Dark Knight, will once again be available for a short booking window starting March 10, 2026, giving enthusiasts another opportunity to own one of the most distinctive electric SUVs on sale in India.
Limited Booking Window and Delivery Timeline
Mahindra confirmed that preference registrations for the BE 6 Batman Edition open on March 6, 2026, through the company’s dedicated electric SUV website. Actual bookings will begin on March 10 at 11:00 AM and will remain open for just one day, underlining the exclusivity of the special edition model. Deliveries for the new batch are scheduled to commence from April 10, 2026.
The decision to reopen bookings comes after the first batch saw extraordinary demand. When Mahindra initially launched the Batman Edition, all 999 units sold out in just 135 seconds, making it one of the fastest-selling special editions in the brand’s history.
To reward early adopters, Mahindra has also confirmed that customers referred by existing BE 6 Batman Edition owners will receive priority delivery for the new orders.
Price and Platform
The BE 6 Batman Edition carries an ex-showroom price of ₹28.49 lakh and is based on the top-spec Pack Three variant of the BE 6 electric SUV equipped with a 79 kWh battery pack.
The standard BE 6 is part of Mahindra’s new generation electric lineup built on the INGLO EV platform, offering strong performance and a claimed range of up to around 682 km (ARAI) with the 79 kWh battery pack in the standard model.
Batman-Inspired Exterior Design
As the name suggests, the BE 6 Batman Edition stands out with design elements inspired by Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Trilogy.
The SUV features:
- Custom Satin Black exterior paint
- 20-inch alloy wheels with Bat-inspired detailing
- Alchemy Gold-finished suspension components and brake calipers
- Multiple Bat emblems across hubcaps, quarter panels, windows and rear windshield
- Special “BE 6 x The Dark Knight” badging
Additional visual details include an Infinity Roof with a Bat emblem and illuminated carpet lamps that project the Batman logo onto the ground when the doors are opened.
Themed Interior and Special Features
Inside the cabin, Mahindra has carried forward the superhero theme with a charcoal and gold colour scheme and bespoke design touches. Key highlights include:
- Suede and leather upholstery with gold stitching
- Gold-accented steering wheel and dashboard trim
- A Batman Edition plaque on the dashboard
- Custom Batman-themed welcome animation on the infotainment system
- Race-inspired door straps and a special key fob
The interior also features Bat emblem detailing across several elements, reinforcing the model’s collector-style appeal.
