Mahindra & Mahindra has officially launched the XEV 9e Cineluxe Edition, a special luxury-focused version of its flagship electric SUV, in the Indian market. Priced at ₹29.35 lakh (ex-showroom), this new edition builds on the top-spec Pack Three variant and is aimed at buyers seeking a more indulgent EV experience with enhanced design, comfort and in-cabin technology.
Design & Premium Styling
The XEV 9e Cineluxe Edition stands out with exclusive cosmetic upgrades that distinguish it from the standard model. The SUV will be offered in Satin Black and Satin White exterior finishes that accentuate its sleek and modern lines. Inside, the cabin receives a fresh treatment with a dual-tone theme in Chestnut Brown and Nocturne Black smooth-grain leatherette, aiming to create a more refined, lounge-like atmosphere for occupants.
Cinematic Cabin & Technology
A highlight of the Cineluxe Edition is its immersive cabin experience, anchored by a coast-to-coast triple HD digital display that dominates the dashboard. The SUV also features a 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with Dolby Atmos, an Infinity Roof, and an advanced ambient lighting setup capable of delivering over 16 million color combinations — all designed to deliver a cinematic, high-end feel inside the EV.
Complementing the rich audio-visual experience are other technology highlights carried over from the Pack Three variant, including an augmented-reality head-up display (StraightAhead VisionX), EyeDentity driver and occupant monitoring, HandsFree Park with auto park assist, and the Secure360 safety suite. The vehicle also offers innovative comfort features such as Camp, Keep, and PawPal HVAC modes, custom drive modes, Digital Key, Secure360 Pro, and personalized user profiles.
Powertrain & Range
Mechanically, the Cineluxe Edition retains the robust electric powertrain of the XEV 9e. It is powered by a 79 kWh battery pack that delivers a claimed real-world range of over 500 km on a single charge, ensuring practicality is not compromised despite the added luxury features. The SUV continues to deliver strong performance with rear-wheel-drive dynamics and rapid acceleration characteristic of the 79 kWh variant.
Bookings & Availability
Bookings for the XEV 9e Cineluxe Edition opened on 2 March 2026, with customer deliveries scheduled to commence from 10 March 2026 across Mahindra’s dealership network in India. Positioned at a premium over the Pack Three Select variant, this new special edition underscores Mahindra’s strategy to broaden the appeal of its electric SUV portfolio by blending luxury, technology and long-range EV capability.
