Hero Vida VX2 Plus KKR Limited Edition Launched: A Cricket-Inspired Electric Scooter for IPL Fans

Hero MotoCorp’s electric mobility arm VIDA has unveiled the all-new Vida VX2 Plus KKR Limited Edition, a special version of its popular electric scooter, celebrating its association with Kolkata Knight Riders ahead of the Indian Premier League 2026.

Designed to appeal to cricket enthusiasts and EV buyers alike, the limited-edition model blends sporty aesthetics with the practicality of the standard VX2 Plus.

KKR-Themed Design Takes Centre Stage

The biggest highlight of the Vida VX2 Plus KKR Limited Edition is its exclusive styling. The scooter features a distinctive Knight Purple and Gold colour scheme, directly inspired by KKR’s iconic jersey.

Additional cosmetic upgrades include:

  • KKR emblem positioned prominently on the front apron
  • “Limited Edition” badging to mark exclusivity
  • Gold-themed decals across the body panels
  • Purple accents extending to under-seat elements

These visual enhancements give the scooter a premium and sporty identity, clearly differentiating it from the standard VX2 Plus.

Launched with IPL Star Power

The scooter was unveiled in the presence of KKR players Rinku Singh and Ajinkya Rahane, strengthening the brand’s connection with the franchise and its fan base.

VIDA also plans to gift customised VX2 Plus KKR Edition scooters to KKR players after match wins, further amplifying the collaboration.

Limited Availability and Special Perks

As the name suggests, the VX2 Plus KKR Limited Edition will be produced in limited numbers and sold via select VIDA dealerships.

Buyers also receive:

  • A KKR-themed helmet
  • Exclusive branding elements tied to the IPL partnership

The model is expected to be available only during the IPL 2026 season, adding to its collector appeal.

Price and Positioning

The Vida VX2 Plus KKR Limited Edition is priced at around ₹1.16 lakh (ex-showroom, with subsidies), making it slightly more expensive than the standard VX2 Plus due to its cosmetic enhancements.

Despite the premium, the scooter remains competitively positioned in India’s growing electric two-wheeler segment.

Performance and Features Remain Unchanged

  • Range: Up to 142 km (IDC claimed)
  • Top speed: 80 km/h
  • Battery: Removable battery system
  • Fast charging: 0–80% in ~62 minutes
